Santa delivers early to ABC Club Boston
No coal for local social club with the announcement of the official launch of club’s web site
BOSTON - December 18, 2008 - While some ABC Club Boston members may have been a little "naughty", Santa’s overlooked any silly behavior and delivered the highly-anticipated, official web site, www.abcclubboston.com just in time for the holidays. With help from Webmaster Justin Chilton, the new site includes all images from each bar, the award-winning The Morning After, information about upcoming meetings and much more!
In addition to the web site, ABC Club Boston will slowly phase out their hotmail account, emailing announcements and The Morning After from the general email address, info@abcclubboston.com.
"We are so excited to have an official site with more capabilities," says co-founder and president, Leslie Stachowiak. "Members will find it easy to navigate and check out friends they’ve meet at previous bars." Members are also encouraged to visit the site regularly for information on upcoming bars and participate in future polls and bar decisions.
"Soon we’ll have our A through Z celebration t-shirts available so members can order one and sport it around town," says co-founder and CEO, Ashley Zolenski. Belly shirts will not be available, she adds.
Tireless days and nights were spent meticulously finishing the site. "Justin’s web skills rock," comments co-founder and charter member, Jessica Orndorff. "With his help, we finally have one place where people can go to get all the information they need about ABC. We have some great events coming up next year so now everyone can be in the loop!"
2009 brings new adventures for ABC Club Boston, including bar crawls, unique activities, freebies and a huge celebration at 'Z' bar! Add www.abcclubboston.com to your favorites and be sure to add yourself to the mailing list on the home page to get all the important information on future meetings.

The Boston Herald caught up with ABC Club at Noir – while they were enjoying drinks and warm chocolate chip cookies. After a few shots and lots of encouragement, ABCers convinced the Herald to run a full feature on the club. Video shoots and professional photography dominated the evening, while the Herald learned all about the club, its mission and its members.

Visiting Boston establishments, A through Z, social club takes over ‘M’ bar with sake bombs and karaoke.
BOSTON - October 16, 2008 - ABC Club Boston, the city’s official chapter of the alphabetically-themed social club, recently celebrated its six month anniversary and half-way mark through the alphabet at Maluken in Kenmore Square. More than 50 ABC Club members, who moon-light as professional karaoke singers, swarmed into Maluken to commemorate the occasion.
"We are so excited about the response to the club!" said colleagues and founding members Jessica Orndorff, Leslie Stachowiak and Ashley Zolenski in unison. Established in April of this year, the Triumvirate cleverly founded the social club in an effort to visit the best of Boston’s establishments and meet new people.
The club has now grown to more than 50 people by word-of-mouth and through Facebook. While the slogan boasts that they “drink” their way through Boston, members know that outings include food, fun and no pressure to drink alcohol.
In addition to local notoriety the club is receiving for just plain being a good time; new friends, business and love connections have also been made.
Theme nights have been planned, such as the karaoke night and wig and hat night in honor of Halloween. "The club plans to make it through ‘Z’, celebrate with a big party, and begin the process all over again!" explains Stachowiak. "We have a few tricks up our sleeves and we promise a good time," adds Orndorff. "Just be sure to bring new friends and spread the word," concludes Zolenski with a bright smile. Fitting for a club filled with genuine folks who all enjoy a good night out!
